The Five Signals

What the opportunity feed surfaces — real transits, returns, profection years, dormant clients and planned follow-ups.

The feed merges five different signals into one ranked list. Knowing what each one means helps you read the feed at a glance.

1. Real transits

Precise, dated alerts computed from the real ephemeris — for example "Transit Saturn squares this client's natal Sun on August 12." These are true transits, not age estimates, so the date in the message is the date the aspect is exact.

2. Returns — Saturn, Jupiter, Solar

The big return moments land on their exact day: the Saturn return, Jupiter returns, and the Solar Return each birthday. A Solar Return shows in the feed with a 🎂 birthday label rather than a generic transit.

3. A new profection year, every birthday

Each birthday opens a new annual profection year. ChartVault tags it with the activated house and the traditional Lord of the Year, and weaves that timing into the outreach email for you — a dated, technique-driven reason to book the year-ahead reading. (See birthdays and the profection panel.)

4. Dormant clients

Any active client who's been silent for 120+ days surfaces automatically, so repeat business doesn't quietly slip away. A re-engagement template is ready for them.

5. Planned follow-ups

When a past session's Next Focus said something like "revisit Jupiter in three months," ChartVault reminds you when that time comes — turning a note you'd otherwise forget into a timed nudge.

Ranked together

All five signals flow into the same value × urgency ranking, so a high-value dormant client and a tight Saturn transit are weighed on the same scale — you always see the most worthwhile outreach first.

For the exact computation window and the transit types ChartVault tracks, see the transit engine reference.
